We know you have some questions! So hopefully, we have some of the answers!

PERSONAL

  • Yes! Most places will accept credit and you are able to use your card normally!

Check to see if your card has no foreign transaction fees to avoid a small percentage on each charge.

  • Spain operates under the Euro system. While you can use your card practically everywhere, it’s great to have cash on hand for quick transactions.

There are many ATMs available but we recommend getting cash out once you are in the city rather than at the airport to avoid higher fees.

  • Yes! All the major carriers charge $10/day to use your phone normally while abroad (phone, text, internet, etc.).

However, you can usually get by just via wifi if you are strategic with your use! We recommend downloading Barcelona’s map offline to Google Maps on your phone!

PRO TIP - There is an app called Airalo that provides you with an E-Sim Card for an affordable price to be able to use internet on your phone without using your phone plan!

TRAVEL

  • Barcelona has an incredible metro system highlighted by it’s underground subway station.

We recommend purchasing the T-10 Pass at any station where you will be able to puchase 10 rides for about 11 Euros!

  • Depending on where you are coming from, a train or taxi will be the best route!

If coming in from Barcelona, we recommend taking the Rodalies Train to Sitges, a beautiful train ride along the coast (click here to check times!)

From there, there are many taxis waiting just outside the train station that can take you the remaining 10 minute drive to Clos La Plana!

  • The best way to get from the venue back to your accommodations will be via taxi. There are numerous taxi companies in the area that operate 24/7 and we will have numbers available to call at the venue!

GENERAL

  • Yes! You will need to purchase an adapter however to plug into their outlets.

Look for a USA -> EU plug adapter, or an international universal adapter in the travel section of your favorite store.

  • There is so much to experience in the Barcelona region and we hope you take the time to see and eat some incredible things!
